Parkwoods is extensively used
for residential, experiential out-bound training and team building workshops
by Soft Skills Training Companies and also by Corporates who have either their in-house
trainers or hire independent / freelance facilitators. Alternatively, Parkwoods can also design and conduct customized team-building, leadership, sales or soft skills training programs on any of the above mentioned modules through their associate training companies and their panel of corporate trainers, facilitators and outdoor adventure instructors. The typical duration of a residential program is 2 ½ – 4 days. The programs are conducted by a core team of facilitators, trainers and outdoor instructors. The program is experiential, interactive and participative so that understanding of ideas and concepts is strong and transfer and retention is effective. The program includes adventure activities, games, exercises, role plays, case studies, lecturettes, debriefing, feedback, analysis and group discussions. Training programs and team building workshops are customized as per specific expectations of the client. |

Infrastructure and Logistic Support Park Woods is a very preferred destination retreat for conducting outbound, experiential soft skills training programs on team building, leadership, sales, motivation, self development, stress and change management. Its vast infrastructure and logistic support makes it highly suitable. ~ 20 acre natural private estate on a ridge at 5700 feet with valley and mountain views in the midst of pine, oak and rhododendron forests. ~ 5 acre built up area. ~ Accommodation in individual, fully furnished bamboo huts and swiss cottage tents with attached bathrooms with 24 hours running hot and cold water and electricity. Total inventory of 25 rooms which can accommodate 50 people on double occupancy and 75 people on triple sharing with an extra bed in each room. More.. ~ Permanent kitchen churning out delicious dishes. More.. ~ Regular electricity, back up generator, security and a permanent staff of 25 people. More.. ~ An in-campus obstacle course with adventure and rope activities - Valley Crossing, Tyrolean Traverse, Flying Fox, Monkey Crawl, Burma Bridge, Rope Ladder, Tree Bridge, Commando Net, Rope Walk, Tarzan Swing, Catwalk, Spider Web, Tyre Web, Tunnel Crossing, Balance Beam, Stepping Stones and Trip Wire. More.. ~ In-campus Rappelling on a 45 feet rock face. ~ In-campus Rock Climbing and Jumaring on a 30 feet rock face. ~ 03 permanently employed, certified, trained and experienced adventure instructors who maintain high safety standards and use the best quality of equipment whether they be climbing ropes or those for belays or harnesses, carabineers, helmets, mittens, jumar, ascenders or aiders. ~ Large open areas for conducting team building games. ~ Two conference areas for conducting class room sessions or indoor activities. These have excellent views with a rustic ambience of a thatched roof and canvas walls which preferably are kept rolled up. Electricity, white board, white screen and flip charts are available within Parkwoods. LCD projector and audio systems, microphones and amplifiers are available on hire. ~ One conference area is 25 feet x 15 feet and can seat 30 people in theatre style while the other one is 40 feet x 25 feet and can seat 75 people in theatre style. ~ Surrounding forests, villages and meadows are excellent for navigational day and night treks. ~ The evenings are made interesting with bonfires, onsite barbeques, recorded music and a village ambience under the starlit sky with charpoys, hookahs, dholaks and lanterns. ~ The entire operations are headed by a team of experienced professionals. Parkwoods as a destination and retreat is environmentally friendly and ecologically balanced and we always request the guests to appreciate the same and contribute to the maintenance of the eco-culture. Though efforts have been made to provide all basic (and even modern) facilities we encourage the guests to imbibe the maximum from the environment and the outdoors and to make an effort to re-connect with nature both physically and mentally.

situational dynamics, flexibility, co-operation and self-discipline is required
which we necessarily expect all participants and co-ordinators to adhere to for
an enjoyable program and a fruitful training intervention. |
