Tara Devi temple at a height of 7000, 10 kms from Parkwoods.
10 kms away is the Tara Devi temple at a height of 7000 feet. In winters, the slopes are laden with snow. Catch lovely view of the Himalayan ranges through conifers.

Gambhar River Tributary - 10 kms by road from Parkwoods or a trek route of 6 kms across the forests and villages.

A seasonal stream which has water about 6 months of the year is a nice place for a picnic lunch.
On the bank of the river is an ancient small Shiv Temple.

From the road head a 50 meter trail through terraced fields leads one to the river.
